2010 Summer research Opportunities in Genomics, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics.
This is The SoyMap II project www.soymap.org , they are doing summer internships for 2010 for at weeks at one of their 5 participating laboratories:
purdue U; iowa state U; Cornell U; USDA-ARS in beltsville,ma; HudsonAlpha Institute, Huntsville, AL
$4500 Stipend as well as housing and travel allowances, and an oppourtunity to attend and present a presentation at a national scientific conference.
Michael Gonzales mgonzales@soymap.org is the guy to talk to about this, we are going to have a meeting with him at the ol' class room by judy's office on Wednesday the 10th, this is tentative at the moment as we are waiting for word back from him but regardless we will have a meeting then... we need to pick a vp anyways.. maybe lancelot will rise to the occasion, maybe not.... it is free game though, so who ever wants it should go for it.. need some extra arms anyways.. lol

ok it is confirmed we will have the meeting in 611E on Wednesday the 10th between 11:30 and 12:30, so anyone interested in CS,STEM and biology should attend.
